Senior League (Under 17's) & Big League (Under 19's)

Kalamunda Rangers, in conjunction with Little League  WA, offer several opportunities for junior baseballers, numbers permitting.  Cut-off dates for each age group is the 1st of May each year.  In addition, Kalamunda Rangers organise several Bootcamps throughout the year to improve your skills and prepare you for your next progression in your chosen sport.

The divisions for our junior baseballers once they are out of Junior League age groups is Senior League (Under 17's), who play on Saturday afternoons.

Senior League (Under 17's) is an Under 17's competition and play at 3:30pm. Games are 2 hours long.

Big League (Under 19's) are an Under 19's competition and play 3:30pm. Games are 2 hours long.

Very importantly, our junior baseball divisions requires the commitment by both players and Parents.   Players will be required to train for two afternoon through the week for approximately 1½ - 2 hours.   Our junior divisions are a ’Home and Away’ competition which involves travelling to other grounds to play, as well as playing at Maida Vale.   Parental help may be required to help transport players to these grounds.

Parents are required to assist the team at training and at the games so that the team can run efficiently.   Position required (though not limited to) are Team Manager, Scorers, Umpires, Base Coaches as well as assisting in the Canteen at Home Games.

Parent help is ESSENTIAL in order to help keep the costs of the player’s fees down.

As well as offering games to represent the Kalamunda Rangers, players have the opportunity to represent the Southern Hills Warriors Charter at the State Championship weekend in January. Players can also represent both the State and Australia ithrough the High Performance State teams.
