The winter softball competition is played at the Canning Softball Association located at Centenary Reserve in Wilson. This competition is slow pitch only which is a more social competition and is played on Saturday afternoons at either a 12.30pm or 2.30pm time slot. The competition is open to mens and womens teams for players over the age of 18. Special consideration may be taken by the Canning Softball Association commmittee for younger players however this is assessed on a case by case basis. 2014 was the first year that Kalamunda Rangers submitted teams with a ladies C Grade and a mens Open Grade. In 2015 Kalamunda Rangers registered three teams with the addition of a B Grade ladies team.
The season runs from April through to August with the final association windup held in September.

This competition is great for those players wanting to get back into softball or those wanting to stay fit in between the summer seasons.
